Stephen P. Largent, Esq. is the owner of Largent Law, LLC. His practice focuses on Labor & Employment issues with a concentration in worker’s compensation defense. His primary clients include self-insured employers, high deductible employers, third-party administrators, and worker’s compensation insurance carriers.

Mr. Largent’s previous legal experience includes seven years at a large corporate defense law firm, the last four as a Senior Associate. In this position, he managed a voluminous worker’s compensation case-load.

He was responsible for all aspects of worker’s compensation defense work, including, but not limited to, drafting case assessment reports with exposures and analysis, independent medical evaluation and vocational evaluation summary reports, maintaining close client contact, representing client interests at hearings, depositions, and in Circuit Court, and drafting all Labor & Industry Review Commission briefs and appellate briefs. Mr. Largent was the Firm’s Medicare Set-Aside specialist and frequently counseled outside attorneys on Medicare Set-Aside issues.

Additionally, Mr. Largent was the Firm’s specialist in hearing loss cases, advising his clients on methods to reduce the magnitude of occupational hearing loss claims in the future. As a value added service, Mr. Largent has negotiated with medical providers to drastically reduce medical expense exposures and has represented clients on Wis. Stat. §102.29, third-party recovery claims.
