Cooking Class Description: As friends gather to sample and share delectable bite-size morsels, it’s easy to see why dim sum translates as “touch the heart.” In this hands-on class, you’ll practice the steps for making perfect dumplings—from forming and folding to pleating and steaming. Our instructor will show you how to make dough for wrappers and prepare delicious fillings for a variety of savory and sweet treats. After mastering a few simple techniques, you’ll look forward to impressing guests at your own dim sum party.

Sur La Table recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please check with your local Cooking School before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
