BAYSHORE Announces Second Annual Spring Art Festival

GLENDALE, WI (March 30, 2022) – Spring is in the air, and BAYSHORE is excited to announce the second annual BAYSHORE Spring Art Festival on Saturday, May 14 and Sunday, May 15. This free event is open to the public and is presented by Welcome to Glendale in partnership with Amdur Productions.

More than 75 local and regional artists, artisans and makers will display their work in The Yard – a large, open-air space located in the heart of BAYSHORE – as well as the surrounding streets. Guests can shop while listening to live music and grab a bite to eat from participating food trucks or one of the many dining options at BAYSHORE.

Guests will find a wide variety of unique items to shop, including art, food, clothing, lotions, stationary, furniture and home décor, and more.

“BAYSHORE strives to be a creative hub for all to enjoy,” said Brenda Vento, marketing manager for BAYSHORE. “That’s why we’re so excited to bring back the Spring Art Festival to support local and regional artists and makers, as well as provide a unique and artistic experience for our guests.”

Sarah Hunt-Frank, Hunt-Frank Designs

Wauwatosa, Wisconsin

Sarah Hunt-Frank makes one-of-a-kind, hand-built ceramic vases. She creates pieces that emulate style in a subtle, elegant way. Each of my vases are uniquely created by connecting two shapes of slab-rolled clay, decorated with an elegant image using an ancient Japanese technique.

Gary & Tyler David, Bright Idea

Potosi, Wisconsin

Gary and Tyler David are a father and son woodworking duo. They started the Bright Idea home decor line back in 2010 when Tyler discovered the process they use to color the wood. Being only an 11- year-old, the lathe was the main power tool Tyler would use and experiment with. Tyler was only in 7th grade when he found out that he could use wax crayons to color wood while it was turning on the lathe. Now all Bright Idea pieces are colored with oil pastels.
