BAYSHORE is thrilled to host Dance Fest 2023, presented by Nō Studios, on Saturday, June 24, at 2 p.m. Join the community in The Yard, a large, open-air space in the heart of BAYSHORE, and see Milwaukee’s budding dance talent! The event is free and open to the public.

Dance Fest 2023 will spotlight ten dance groups, including:

● Danceworks Performance MKE

● Dream Cheer and Dance Studio

● Ko-Thi Dance Company

● Milwaukee Irish Dance Company

● Moonwater Dance Project

● Nova Linea Contemporary Dance

● Salsabrositas

● Signature Dance Company

● True Skool

● Water Street Dance Milwaukee

The groups will showcase a wide variety of styles including salsa, contemporary, hip-hop, Irish step, and African inspired dance.

“We’re honored to host such a diverse, talented group of Milwaukee performance companies at BAYSHORE,” said Brenda Vento, marketing manager, BAYSHORE. “It’s our goal to not only cultivate the most meaningful experiences for our community, but also to create a space where we can foster its talent like we are with Dance Fest 2023.”

Dance Fest 2023 will welcome Danni Gee, director of programming at the internationally acclaimed The Joyce Theater in New York, as an honorary guest. Gee has over 35 years of experience in the arts and entertainment industry and was a former dancer at the renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and a dance curator for New York City’s SummerStage festival. “I am excited for this partnership with Nō Studios and Dance Fest 2023 and am looking forward to experiencing firsthand the talent coming out of Milwaukee and Chicago,” said Gee.
