Bayshore celebrated the grand openings of ACX Cinemas Entertainment Center, Backlot Pizza + Kitchen, and Buchanan’s on Thursday, February 29. Attendees had the opportunity to explore elevated entertainment experiences, enjoy culinary delights, and participate in exciting giveaways. Guests included public officials, community members, local business owners and employees, and many others.
ACX Cinemas Entertainment Center offers five distinct experiences, including an 11-lane bowling alley, an arcade center with 40 games, a 43,000 sq. ft. movie theater with six screens and luxury heated recliners. New dining options include Backlot Pizza + Kitchen, two full-service bars, and concessions.
Backlot Pizza + Kitchen is the perfect place to grab a bite before a movie. The signature kitchen offers a laid-back atmosphere with a menu that spotlights the “best Detroit-style pizza on the planet” and a full-service bar featuring signature handcrafted cocktails.
Buchanan’s offers an extensive collection of whiskey, craft beers and bourbon, as well as fan favorite cocktails in a supper club-like atmosphere. The U.K.-inspired menu features Scottish, Irish and British cuisine from Shepherd’s Pie to Fish and Chips. Happy Hour is available daily from 3 - 6 p.m. with 1/2 off appetizers, $2 off draft beer, $5 Well Spirits and Jameson, and $5 hot toddy and Irish coffee.
